Wonder what to do with dark elbows and knees?
Many women are troubled by their dark elbows and knees. Some are born with this skin-deep imperfection but others are acquired because they use their elbows to lean on the table or because they kneel so much.
If you do not want to bleach your entire body just because of these four troublesome parts, you can actually treat this with a common household ingredient–lemon. And of course, some patience because the change will not happen overnight and it will also take some effort.
The only things that you should do are to cut up a lemon in two and rub them on your elbows and knees until you get tired. Maybe five minutes on each surface would suffice. Some people prefer to some iodized salt on the lemon and they would use this rub on their skin.
Just a word of caution, do not do this if there is even a slight abrasion on any of the intended skin surfaces because the pain could get really nasty. If you can do this every night, that would be very good and do this until your elbows and knees have lightened to your preference.
Here in the Philippines where lemon is more expensive and not as common, use kalamansi instead for your dark elbows and knees. It works just as well.
