Singer Gwen Stefaniis often known not only for her music but also for her unique and sometimes eccentric style. She is also known for the “Bumpit look”, where her hair is arranged so that it looks like a huge bump on her head.

But apparently, not too many men like that look. In magazine article I read, they do not argue that Gwen is really hot, but they have a cold reception for her up-do. It seems that they do not like something that makes the head look bigger than it should be.

Oh well, what do you think of the Bumpit hairstyle of Gwen Stefani?

I really love this look–sexy, laid-back surfer-girl look. You just wear a tank top and a bohemian skirt and you would look really stylish on the beach.

All you need if you have wavy hair is “some beach spray and a diffuser,” says hairstylist Tommy Buckett of the Marie Robinson Salon in New York City. Saturate damp hair with a texturizing spray, such as Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray; then dry with a diffuser attached to your blow-dryer. For straight hair, twist dry four-inch chunks haphazardly around a big-barrel curling iron instead, then mist with the spray. (By the way, you can use actual salt water to create these waves—it really works!)

Deposed and murdered Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi may had been a stern figure but he was actually a lover of beauty. That is why many had tagged him as a “vainglorious leader.”

Okay, you may not agree with his concept of beauty or you may think that he is not good-looking but his vanity lies in the maintenance of his look. He would like to preserve his stern look and his signature hairdo that he even had a face alteration in 1995. He hired a doctor to get fat from his belly so that it could be injected into his facial muscles. This procedures plumps up the face so that the wrinkles would be lessened. Gadhafi wanted to look young. As he was growing old, he did not want his constituents to see that he was getting physically weaker.

During his autopsy, he was also found to be wearing a wig. He had hair plugs to maintain a plush mane.

That is why I think that Gadhafi deserves an article here–for his love of beauty–whatever his concept is.
