Laser Treatment to Have Blue Eyes

Would you undergo a laser treatment in order to have blue eyes?

Many people equate having blue eyesto being beautiful. How many times we have heard the phrase, “blue-eyed blonde”, in the past? And this of course pertains to a beautiful blonde woman with blue eyes.

Now, with a new technology in laser treatment, it is possible to have blue eyes even if you were not naturally born with it. And it no longer involves colored contact lenses.

Stroma Medical has already patented a controversial treatment technique that employs a laser beam. With continued treatment, dark brown irises will become bright blue in a matter of a few weeks.

Dr. Gregg Homer, the founder of Stroma Medical, claims that the laser technology is very safe and will “change people’s lives for the better.” How so, he did not elaborate. Based in California, USA, Dr. Homer claims that he is an inventor more than a medical doctor. He holds a PhD in biology.

The Stroma laser technology for changing eye color is expected to be available in Asia, South America, the Middle East and in Southern Europe within the next 18 months. However, it may not be available for the next four years in the US and UK where safety standards are more stringent.

Now, would you have to have this? For me, no way! At least with contact lenses, the effect is temporary and there is no invasive treatment involved.

  1. We’re on the same boat. I don’t want any kind of surgery or treatment done on my eyes. I wear contact lens every time I go out and I’m happy with that.

  2. I would never ever buy this surgery especially for my eyes. I am contented with my brown eyes. I fear that when I started to let my eyes touched by any medical procedure, it will have other complications.

  3. This sounds a little weird to me. I’ve never heard of a laser treatment to turn eyes into blue.
